Two Hour Delayed Opening on Tuesday, January 27th

Lincoln Public Schools, including the Lincoln School, the Hanscom School, and central office, will be operating on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, January 27th. All buses will be running their normal routes, but stops will take place two hours later than normally scheduled. We will not be serving breakfast when students arrive, and all after-school activities will take place as normally scheduled.

School Closed on Monday

Dear Lincoln Public Schools Staff,


Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. Our central office will also be closed, and our custodial staff should report to work based on guidance from the Facilities Director. All after-school activities, including LEAP, are canceled for Monday.


Given the projected duration of the storm and snowfall totals, it is too early to know whether or not school on Tuesday will be impacted. There is certainly the possibility of a delay or closure on Tuesday, but that decision will be based on travel conditions and our ability to clear school roadways and parking lots to ensure a safe arrival. My default assumption is that we will have school on Tuesday, but I will be sure to provide updated information if that changes.


This is a big storm that also arrives with dangerously cold temperatures – please stay safe and warm.
