MA History Day Needs You (and a friend!)

Posted Date: 03/03/26 (02:14 PM)

Hi Lincoln School families,

See this plea from our friends at MA History Day who are in desperate need of more judges for this Saturday's competition at Stoneham High School where several Lincoln and Hanscom students will be competing....

Hi everyone,

We’ve had a late surge in registrations for this Saturday’s Northeast Regional Contest at Stoneham High School — and we are now at 400+ students and more than 240 projects. It’s officially the largest contest we’ve ever hosted!

Which is amazing… and also means we urgently need a few more judges.

If you (or a colleague, retired teacher, grad student, college student, community member, spouse, adult child, etc.) are available this Saturday, 3/7, we would be so grateful. You do not need to be a history expert — just someone willing to listen, ask questions, and give thoughtful feedback. We’ll provide training, materials, 10 PDPs, our eternal gratitude, and of course, food!

The work is impressive, the conversations are inspiring, and these kids will genuinely make you feel hopeful about the future!

Please share with your colleagues and if you can help, sign up on the Northeast Regional Contest  portal, or reach out with questions and we will get you sorted.
