Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This was a busy week at the Hanscom School. We had our first day of Spring parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday along with report card distribution for grades 6-8. Conferences continue for the next two Wednesdays. If you haven’t had a chance to schedule a conference yet, please reach out to your child’s teacher(s) or contact the main office to sign up.
Over the last two days students in grades 3-8 completed the ELA portion of the MCAS assessment. I was so proud of how focused our students were and how diligently they worked. Kudos to them and to their teachers for preparing them so well. MCAS will continue with the math portion of the assessment in early May.
Finally, the Hanscom Theater Club presented their production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. last night. It was a fantastic performance full of great acting, singing, dancing, beautiful costumes and fantastic work from the stage crew. If you didn’t get a chance to see it last night don’t worry there is another opportunity tonight. The doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. We hope to see you there.
I hope that you all have a nice weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday.
Warm Regards,
Mr. Ledebuhr
