Preschool Eligibility for Lincoln Preschool at Hanscom

Children are eligible for tuition-free preschool on the Hanscom Campus if they:

  • Reside on Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) and have a sponsor who is an active-duty military member or a full-time DoD Federal Civil Service employee (as verified by the HAFB housing lease and the military sponsor ID), and
  • Meet one of the following criteria:
    • Are four years old by September 30 of the enrolling school year
    • Are between the ages of 3–5 and require special education services as defined by an Individualized Education Program (IEP)

These guidelines are part of our contractual agreement with DoDEA and must be followed by the Lincoln Public Schools.

If a child is not eligible under these criteria, they will automatically be placed on our waitlist, unless the family does not want them on the waiting list. If space becomes available, a tuition-based placement for that school year will be offered.

Children who turn four after September 30, 2025, will be eligible for tuition-free enrollment the following school year.

If your child is eligible and you are interested in enrolling, please submit an enrollment application.
